Perfect for Steam Link!
This small monitor emulator works perfectly as a solution for Steam Link and game PC. If you turn off the monitor connected to your PC it will, in some cases, cause problems for a Steam Link machine connected to a TV or projector. The Steam Link will change the resolution if the monitor is turned off, but using an display/monitor emulator such as this one solves the problem and "fools" the computer and the Steam Link so that you can turn off your ordinary monitor but still be able to duplicate the PC-monitors resolution on the Steam Link. This display emulator works just as I wanted! The build quality is ok, the circuit board is covered/protected by shrink tubing so you need to be careful when inserting/removing the display emulator. A hard case would be preffered, but this is not such a big issue if you don't plan to remove and insert it alot.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
