More expensive isn't always better quality
I bought this Sanger hot water bottle thinking "Made in Germany, more expensive than any of the others, therefore should last for a good few years" (in fact my previous one was Sanger and lasted about 7 years). Unfortunately this one has just started leaking from the neck after 2 years of use. Very annoying as I am always careful to follow the care instructions. The packaging states that there is a 3 year guarantee but the small print says this is from the date of manufacture not date of purchase. I will be replacing it with a cheapo one next time!

Poor design
Poor design. The fleece cover cannot be removed easily and can only be put on and taken off when the bottle is empty. This means there's a risk if it getting wet when the bottle is being filled.
