I have now purchased three of these little gems to give Bluetooth transmit capability to three good old Roku Soundbridge devices around the home. The transmitters simply plug into the audio out socket on these. Operation is simple enough and the instruction booklet is comprehensive in a sort of Chinese-English sort of way! I've had no difficulty in pairing with and streaming to two different sets of Bluetooth headphones and an Anker Bluetooth speaker. All in all an excellent product at a pretty good price. OK, there are cheaper Bluetooth transmitter/receiver gizmos out there but they don't look as well built or as easy to use as these. I have not used them as Bluetooth audio receivers so cannot comment on how well they function in that mode, but no reason to suspect they will not be just as good.Read full review

I'm using this as a link between my phone (music source) and self powered speakers where previously I plugged the speakers direct into the phone headphone socket. I only use it in RX mode, so can't speak for the TX side. It's very small and does work OK, but I'm not convinced it's the best quality - though to be fair this is the first device like this I've tried. First, compared to plugging the speakers direct into the phone the sound quality does seem a little off - a little harsher perhaps. Second, the link is prone to a second or two dropout occasionally - not often enough to be really annoying, but enough to notice, maybe once in 30 minutes. Whether those issues are due to this thing or the phone's Bluetooth I'm not sure, but it's a decent phone (Nexus5), so I'd think it's more likely to be this thing. Last irritation is that the blue indicator ring is excessively bright - in use it does a double blink every few seconds and is quite distracting. Obviously this depends on how/where you use it but if you plan to have it in sight be ready for this. Of course if you like things that tell you "Look at me, I'm working" all the time this will float your boat :-) Overall it's not a bad device given the price.Read full review

I have to listen to radio traffic in my job and have found traditional headsets to be a little uncomfortable since I've been fitted with hearing aids. Recently I upgraded my hearing aids to some with a Bluetooth capability and with this device I've been able to Bluetooth directly to them from the source. A great idea with brilliant results. Using it in transmit it outstrips the stated range of 10M/30ft spectacularly. When I leave my desk I can still receive the signal in the restroom, through 2 walls and after leaving the building regained the signal at the front door, through a wall, a door and about 30M/100ft away. Haven't used it in Rx mode.

Upside; small, compact unit easy to use, good battery life and range and low cost. Downside; Ok for speech and low quality music. Suffers from high frequency distortion hence will distort violin or guitar or any instrument that can produce high notes. So would not recommend if you are a music lover. That said it does represent good value for money, but think carefully about what you are using it for.

This Bluetooth Device is simply excellent. Not only is it very compact but it is very easy to charge. It's very simple to use and anyone should be able to use this technology. Converts sound from any devices using Earphone jack plug, and then sends sounds to your Wireless Bluetooth Headset.
