The Loar LM-520-VS Mandolin
This is a great mandolin that I would highly recommend to beginners or intermediate players. It has great tone and looks good. It's hard to beat the price for a hand-carved mandolin.

An Excellent Mandolin In Every Way
I purchased this mandolin recently, and I am very satisfied with it. The workmanship is top notch, with beautifully carved and finished woods. The weight and feel is very nice. The sound has what I find to be a very pure quality and tone, with well balanced highs and lows. Frankly, I find this mandolin at least as overall high quality as many pricier mandolins that I have played before. The Loar LM-600-VS is definitely worth the purchase.
