More than what I expected...

Heavyweight DIY starter bike, but not recommended for avid cyclists
Pros: -Incredible steel frame -great paint job -Feature filled for the price -Very sturdy -Locking center stand is handy for bike work -Factory defects are readily covered by the owner Cons -Much heavier than most bikes -LED headlight was a bit dim -Some fasteners were over-tightened -Included wire basket feels flimsy -"Pedal assist" is useless -Motor freewheels poorly -Lack of power leaves you wanting more. I hope they make a new updated, more powerful, 48V version. If you plan on upgrading your bike from scratch, this step through frame is a GREAT starter... It's thick, heavy, and has decent reinforced dropouts. The bike was originally designed to carry a lead acid battery pack and can handle riders up to 300lb. As an owner of (2) Nakto step through bikes (and one of their 20inch hub motors), I heavily recommend you invest your money into a bike from LunaCycles, RadPower, or JuicedCycles. Nakto uses a motor with high drag and poor freewheel performance. (It's like riding with your brake's partly depressed) It was a noticeable difference when I swapped 250w motor's from another American company; it allowed me to pedal the bike with the motor off much more easily than the ones they provide, changing the experience of the bike. 250 watts, 36VV on a geared hub is not enough power for hills, nor enough speed for cross country travel. It is enough to make your ride a more positive, if only a leisurely, experience, but coupled with the short gears (44?/14t) you're hard limited to 18mph due to the drag on the motor. You'll get your workout that's for sure. You can put 48v on this, but you'll still have to fight against the motor drag, which in my experience, has lead to a rather short motor life. In short, get a known E-bike that is 500w rated or better. You'll have more functional settings, more powerful assist, excellent product support, and never have to worry about upgrading a thing. Do what you love and stay healthy. -Dean

Great bike!
I am riddled with arthritis and lost the stamina that I used to have to be able to ride for any length of time. I needed something that could make it easier and this bicyclel completely fits the bill. Pushing a button for the peddle assist makes going uphilll as easy as downhill. I like that I can use the throttle to control how much help I'm getting. So far the farthest I have ridden is seven miles and the battery was still at full when I got home. Good bike for the price
Everything works well. It took about 30 min to put together. Although, I ended up taking it to an ebike shop to have puncture proof tires installed. This bike is heavy, but that’s to be expected.
