Does exactly what it should. Used on fabric for dog walking bags. Simple if messy to use and once cured for 24 hours then ironed using baking paper they appear fully waterproof. It needs 3 coats though so 1 tub won’t go that far and the downside is that it’s expensive. A slight ‘fishy’ smell but this disappeared after ironing. Couple of tips - make sure there are no stray hairs or bits of cotton on the fabric at the gel stage. They will be almost impossible to remove once dry and leave a mark and use plain cardboard under the fabric as it will transfer any type of print and ruin your material. Gives the fabric a nice sheen and thickness but my standard sewing machine handled it fine and much easier to sew than actual oilcloth. Would definitely purchase again.
