Pricey but worth it to the fountain pen collector or hobbyist
This is an almost comprehensive overview of the fountain pen since it’s inception in the late 1890s/early 1900s into the late 20th century. A few smaller manufacturers are absent, but the history of most European, Asian, and American manufacturers are covered. The full-color photos of a huge variety of pens is amazing — both inspirational from a design perspective and effective as a reference for models/years/makers.
