These B&W speakers are manufactured and designed to work perfectly in small-sized rooms. These stereo speakers have a compact design and can be mounted on the wall or placed on a desk or shelf. The B&W 686 main speakers have a pair of Kevlar cones of 130 diameters that deliver bass and midrange sounds with clarity. These B&W speakers have aluminum tweeters that produce smooth audio and, when kept close to bass and midrange, the user can get improved integration and vertical dispersion of sound from the two units. In addition to that, the B&W 686 main speakers are the smallest speakers in the 600 series but can fulfill the demands of a small room effectively. These stereo speakers are comprised of few components but yield high-quality sound and reduce the degradation of the signals significantly. The dimensions of these speakers include height of 26.5 cm (10.5 inches), width of 17.0 cm (6.7 inches), depth of 28.4 cm (11.2 inches), and weight of 4.5 kg (158.7 oz).
