Whilst in Ireland for an International Song Competition, Tony Hawks was amazed to see a hitch-hiker trying to thumb a lift, but with a fridge. This seemed amazingly optimistic - his Irish friends, however, thought nothing of it at all. ROUND ireland with a fridge
Hawks writes an amusing account of how he arrives in the situation where he is to undertake his journey (with a fridge) and the adventures he has along the way. I am only half way through the book, but so far his mad antics have put many a smile on my face as well as laughter. I paid £2.45 for the book against a cover price of £9.99 and can only hope that any contribution to Hawks' pension fund was made from the original price.
