The paperback edition, with a height of 180 mm and width of 120 mm, contains 192 pages. Written in English, this book is a valuable addition to any literary enthusiast's collection, providing a thought-provoking exploration of the author's perspective on the topic.
Excellent set of reminiscences of a vanished way of life in the sort of small corner shop general store that disappeared long ago, in a town(Ellesmere Port) that no longer bears any resemblance to the author's childhood home. Although she changed a few names to protect privacy, I believe this book is said to be so accurate that local historians refer to it for detail on practices and locations of the 1920s.
