  • Nice wood, good value

I recently purchased an FN Hi Power with old, worn out Pachmyr grips. I wanted to update (backdate?) to something closer to original so I saw and purchased these grip panels. The wood wasn't fancy but looks like what might have come from the factory in 1978. Finish is good and the checkering is sharp with no overruns or blemishes. My only problem was that my gun came with a lanyard stud and ring. It took about a half hour to carefully trim the corner of one panel with an X-acto knife. To my untrained eye (and allowing for blue wear), the pistol looks like it came from Liege with these grips (even after my amateur trim job).

  • Browning HP Grips review

These grips are nicely made and complimented my WWII Occupation made P35 Browning. However with that said, I did have to do slight fitting of the grips to my pistol, as the screw hole was off just slightly, but with gentle fitting, they turned out just fine. My P35 had hand made Plexiglas grips made by a GI during the war.

  • Nice Grips

I have wanted some wooden grips for my High Power for a long time and found these to replace the rubber grips I had put on it years ago. These are a little thicker than the factory grips, but are well made and worked with a very small amount of fitting.

  • I was quite favorably impressed with the rapid turnaround and quality of the grips. They really enhanced my cerakoted 1972 highpower

  • Browning HP Mk. 3

The grips are not made to be put on a Mk. 3 BHP out of the box, mainly because the safety on the Mk 3's is larger than those before. but with a quick cut with a saw, a little sanding and some X-acto knife work they fit like a glove.

  • just right to replace plastic

I received a great pistol with plastic grips. When I saw the wooden grips, I had to class up my HP Pistol. Had to do some mill work for the safety to work functionality, but improves the gun many fold over. Will be a second purchase soon.... Thanks, nice product.

  • Beware

It didn’t fit as is and took significant amount of fitting. Also the checkering is faint and not pronounced. At the end you get what you pay for.
