Culpepper's Complete Herbal book
I am a 71 year old great grandmother and have had a copy of this book for years. However I have recently moved into a bungalow and my copy of Nicholas Culpepper,s Herbal book got lost in transit. I was gutted as I have cured and eased many different ailments with the aid of this book both for myself, my family and friends, oh and animals too. The illustrations are very accurate for the wild plants too, which is absolutely vital for the picking of wild plants, as you could quite easily poison someone, as some deadly ones look similar to healing ones. Some other herbals wax lyrical with the drawings and it is very dangerous. Also the modern English translation alongside the old (olde) English, is very important too. Although the haths and doths etc. make for fascinating reading. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in natural healing, as it can work absolute wonders.Be aware though that not everyone will take notice of you, if you recommend something to them. Just read it thoroughly and write down what you are going to do and how well it is working, to keep a check on what's working and what's not.
