This book by HRH Prince Charles does a good job of pointing out much of what is wrong in British modern architecture. However I was slightly disappointed with the lack of tangible suggestions on how to improve things. In places it felt like the book was more a platform for expressing his disaffection with the architectural establishment than a wholehearted attempt to change it. Nevertheless I enjoyed the book and found some interesting insights into both architecture and Prince Charles.

It is nice to see a member of the Royal Family take interest in environmental issues and architectural landscape and buildings.
