I bought this book having previously bought Loose 7lbs in 7 days. The reason I originally bought the 7lbs book was because it was only £1 in a bookshop. I can honestly say it was the best pound I have spent. I have now cut out caffeine and eat a lot heathier and have three juices throughout the working day - I haven't had this much energy in about 20 years. I have lost 15 lbs in total although weight loss was not my goal. The Juice Master book is a great read if you have not got any other books by Jason Vale, if you have other books then it can be used to reinforce the Juice lifestyle and offers more recipes and information etc. My mindset has now changed to looking for healthy things to put in my body, having been active all my life nutrition was the one aspect which has let me down, this book provides a simple answer, no boring calorie counting, no weight food, no hunger pangs! I also believe it has given me more mental clarity, perhaps the absence of caffeine and other junk food has helped but these days life feels great everyday as oppose to sometimes having a good day.Read full review
If you’re using this as a stand alone diet book, then you’ve chosen well! It’s a sensible, well thought out introduction to dieting and healthy living. It gives lots of advice on the whys and hows of dieting and how to keep it off. I used it as the follow on from the 7 pounds in 7 days juice diet (lost 9 pounds). If you can get used to juicing (especially washing up) this will help you succeed on your journey to a healthier life.
