To prove it, they set off on their now legendary European Tour '76, often known as the Starf*cker tour, in part due to the extraordinary lotus-shaped stage they played on. I was there.
The book chronicles the 'Stones' at their zenith, 1975/76. They were the coolest and best band that were in existence. They had soared from the initial Music/Arts/Culture/Political explosion of the late 50's into the 60's that had started with Elvis, amplified with the Beatles but was personified with the Stones. They were not only anti establishment, but they really were sex, excess and rock n roll. Everything a young teenage lad wanted to be and have! Much as I loved the Punk explosion that was starting at the same kind of time ( that's another important chapter of my life and another story)! The book chronicles the last time when it still mattered, before they and everybody else became too corporate etc.... and I was there!!!! This book is a photographic chapter of my life.
