More challenging than current requirements....
I needed additional sight reading practise before taking Grade 2 exam 2016. This 1994 edition was more like the current Grade 3 standard. Each piece is 2 lines as opposed to 1 line, it moves on from fixed 5 fingers and involves an extra scale than the Grade 2 I was taking. Good to challenge yourself though and probably good practise for current Grade 3.

one step higher than revised standards
It prepared me to one level higher in difficulty than 2017/18 syllabus. In this book, hand positions change once during the piece, and the pieces are at least 6 bars
