Secret Wars - not just a toy figure crossover
The one that started it all. Well for me anyway. About 30 years ago a family member told me about a war between the heroes and villains of the Marvel Universe fighting it out on a secret planet in the middle of the galaxy. And that Spider-Man had changed his famous red and white costume to an all black suit. I was hooked. It’s not as complex as DC’s Crisis on Infinite Earths, and it’s ramifications weren’t as long lasting either (except for Venom), but it was a lot of fun.
