Unusually for me these days i read this one afternoon. The X chromosone has several serious afflictions allied to it My brother had serious colourblindness but nothing else. My childhood was marred by aching legs which i believe was a female trait for the more serious male muscular dystrophy. my doctor called it growing pains. my grandson has Duchesse Muscular dystropy i went back in family tree to past 1815 and found no others author mentions none of these afflctions. great book though.

  • Interesting book

It is intriguing about the way the author digs away at information starting with the Georgian period.
