Excellent book, well renowned author gives some very compelling reasons to seriously consider your diet. The recipes are of secondary importance but are in themselves very good Note that more recent trials cast some confusion over the role of vitamin E but this doesn't matter unless you are taking pure supplements which is now considered very unwise generally anyway

The recipes are straightforward and very much in the Mediterranean style (shades of Gino de Campo) and if it is good for my prostate that is even better. We have tried quite a few and liked all except the potato pastry which was crumbly and too bulky. The fat content of most recipes can be reduced by using lower fat alternative ingredients if you are on the 5:2 diet or a Weightwatcher.
