Enjoyable and intriguing non-fiction book, although the writer tends to stray at times from the subject. I'm personally interested in holding therapy for children and adults who have not been able to bond with a primary caregiver leaving them prone to psychopathy, and this book discusses that somewhat contentious therapy. If you acknowledge and agree with some of the older therapeutic treatments such as primal scream therapy, this book will make good sense to you. It contains photographs of a child in holding therapy, which is unusual and welcome.
