Suspend disbelief
I read this book way back in the early seventies and I have found it just as interesting years later. The second body phenomena is present in many religious tracts and passages. The author gives his methodology if you care to test his assertions. He claims that several psychologists were not prepared to adopt the experimental approach. Superstitious?
