The author obfuscates at times by pursuing too much detail. His diagrams are good but why has he not built the simple circuit relays, at least one of them to demonstrate what they look like? He is clearly obsessed with circuits and electric digital engineering on which modern computers are founded and how codes can be exploited using them. I think this book is more about digital circuits. It would be better titled "Batteries, Wires and Digital Codes". I generally would not recommend it but if you are into electrical circuits, perhaps as an electrician, this could be light reading that you would enjoy.
