Birth of swords and sorcery
To anyone who is interested Robert.E.Howard's most famous character Conan the barbarian, this is a must-have. Simple as that. R.E.H. is widely acclaimed as the "father of swords and sorcery/fantasy genre" . In this epic book, you have every Conan story, but in the order that they were published, not cradle to grave. This threw me initially, as did the massive amount of background details, but I dutifully waded through the details and started in to read the actual stories. Pleasant surprise! Well worth the price to have the complete Conan, excellent product. P.S. I have been a fan of Conan since the late 1970s and I think that Mr Swartzenneger played the part just right in the films.
