disappointing
For the money I think this is a very expensive box of bits. The plans are freely available on the internet and I should think that with a little shopping around the bits of metal in the kit could be sourced for a considerable saving. The 'wood' plinth was a joke, a very poorly cut piece of plywood. I have been making model steam locomotives for several years & just fancied a change, this kit appeared to fulfil my requirements Oh how wrong and disappointed I was upon opening the box.
