The TA20 vehicle power cable will work in vehicles with a vehicle/car battery output of between 10-24 volts. If it features embedded traffic it will say it has a 'built in traffic receiver'. You can then proceed and buy the TA20 vehicle power cable to provide traffic information.

No more stress
Bought to replace original. Was having problems with dash cam and replacing cable was the cheapest possible fix. Worked a treat. No more annoying messages or reboots. Given age of satnav it's hard to find original parts

Good power supply but seems no use as a traffic antenna...
Traffic cable? Not sure. Power lead? Yes. Same as the cable supplied with my Garmin TrafficAssist LMTD that, thanks to a change of system by Garmin in recent months no longer reports traffic news. It repeatedly (more often when powered up than not) shows a message saying its cable isn't compatible with traffic news. So hunting around, I found a fresh one - though hadn't, I regret, taken the trouble to compare model numbers. Lo and behold, this TA20 cable arrived in the mail and has proved identical to the original. Silly me! It performs just as well for mapping but as badly for traffic news as its predecessor.

Works but not traffic
Got this to replace my broken cable for my nuvi as it says traffic antenna built in but it doesn't work for me my old cable you plugged an antenna into it so there must be a difference in built in traffic on the units . It powers the unit so not all is lost
