The book Bravo Two Zero, written by patrol commander 'Andy McNab', became a bestseller. So did another first-hand account of the affair, Chris Ryan's The One That Got Away. But grave doubts have recently emerged about both stories. Michael Asher went to Iraq to investigate what really happened.
