The ProAc Studio 140 is a set of stereo speakers with a flexible design that is effectively damped, utilizing a slim front baffle to help improve the dispersion and rigidity. These stereo speakers incorporate sonic attributes of high efficiency along with refined bass power and a large soundstage. These ProAc main speakers come with a 2.54-cm (1-inch), direct-radiating silk dome tweeter that produces a smooth treble. Also, the tweeter in these stereo speakers is seamlessly coupled via a high quality crossover network to two carbon-filled, 16.5-cm (6.5-inch), polypropylene coned midrange/bass drivers. Additionally, in these ProAc main speakers, the bass is tuned with a floor-firing port to give crisp, extended response, and high quality terminals offer a great musical performance. The ProAc Studio 140 provides an impedance of 8 Ohms, an amplifier power range from 15 watts to 200 watts, a frequency response range from 25 Hz to 30 kHz, and a sensitivity of 91 dB.
