About this product

Product Information

This guitar method series aims to teach you how to play lead guitar, from scratch. Book 1 starts with very simple one-string melodies, gradually increasing in difficulty, and comes with a play-along CD. First, practise with the rehearsal track (just you and another acoustic guitar so you can easily hear your own part), then, when you've mastered the track, join the band for the performance track - drums, bass and electric guitar back you up. Standard musical notation and scale patterns are leraned along the way, and you'll realise you know a lot more than you thought you did by the time you get to the end.

  • Recommended, but no tabs

Good: Nice sample music that are not too hard to play. Helps you building a good foundation. Not so good: contains no tabs so it would take a while to get used to if you can't read musical notes/symbols.
