At the time of writing this review I haven't completely read this book yet but from what I know and have seen so far, it's certainly one for the collection. The author is a renowned name in the gardening world of books and this certainly comes out in the vast amount of useful information the book contains. My copy was an ex-library book and in good condition. I knew about this book before I purchased it, having seen it at my sisters. The book is packed with useful information about countless flowers and includes details on plant likes and dislikes in terms of soil type, sun & shade, wet or dry habitats, plant heights for positioning in the borders, to name but a few. This is truly a must for anyone with an interest in gardening, from the complete novice to the professional gardener. Definitely one for the book shelf and a really useful book if your looking for inspiration or just ideas of what to plant in your garden.Read full review
