We had the previous vertsion of this book and used it on our month long trip in December 2016 / January 2017 to the Philippines and Manila to see our Son, Wife and grandson who were there from Hong Kong. It was excellent to read before we travelled and also to use while we were there. I gave the previous verion to Iain and bought a newer copy on our return to the UK. This one is updated - but verty similar to my forst copy. Still very good and I am readi ng it in anticipation of going back to the Philippines. ( P.S. The traffic is horrific and the scooters and motor cyles speed through the cars and pedestrians ! ! Also you see the haves - in the city and the have nots in the rural areas - but everyone still has a tv dish ! ) Informative and good value. Eric M.B.E.
