Product Information
RAF Hendon is the home of the celebrated RAF museum. The site has a unique place in aviation history and David Oliver tells the story of this historic airfield from its founding in 1909 by Claude Grahame-White as his London Aerodrome until its demise as an RAF station in 1987.
I nice, handy little monograph with a well-illustrated, comprehensive history of this historic airfield. I had my first flight from here in a Dragon Rapide at the last airshow in 1957, of which there was no mention, but never mind. Its last years were reasonably covered.
