A story both frightening and inspiring.
This is a replacement book for one I lost in a flood. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the character of the original (different cover picture and no red edging to the pages), but it has the story so I can refer to it again. Rev. David Wilkerson's work with the gangs of New York and the drug addiction associated with them is immensely inspiring - how one man from an ordinary background can make a difference in an environment which is alien to him. Amazing Classic Christian book that I read years ago and borrowed it to a friend, who forgot to returnit. Bought it agin recently and was amazed how much of the boo k fascinated me to this day. Its about a PASTOR reaching out tol Youths who live in GANGS that fight each other. He approaches them and gets anger from most of them, but evertually he breaks through by offering his TRUST and his LOVE of Jesus Christ to everyone. He not only SAVES mant from death, but has several who freely help himto convert more to Jesus. He has several who became PASTORS to save others in New York from prison and death.
