Lovely stories but not for little children
I love fairytales as much as anyone, in fact I have a Disney dvd collection that could fill a small shop. But this is Grimm fairytales and is not ok for small children. Also, I don’t love the way it was written. It’s just not what I expected. Perhaps my expectations were too high based on the book of bedtime stories, which is infinitely better. There’s a lot of chopping off heads etc in this book. I really couldn’t read it to my toddler so it has gone back in the loft until he’s older.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
