One of my favourite novels
I read this novel many years ago, when Joanna Trollope was just becoming established as a successful and popular author. I loved it then and have read and enjoyed several of her other novels since but this remains my favourite- love the twists and turns of the story and the independent nature of Frances, going after what she knows she really wants despite the accompanying grief she has to endureVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
