Lovers of all kinds of curry need this book, its the best.
Bought this when first published. Lost it in a house move. Had to replace it. I've many cook books, and this is the very best for this type of cuisine. So very detailed, plenty to sit down and read about origins of certain recipes etc. The recipes themselves are detailed, easy, authentic and absolutely delicious.

Fabulous curries from all over the world!
I love this book. After using the same curry book for 30 years, I was keen to get a new view, and Jaffrey's does just that. I learnt how to make Sri Lankan curries when I was there on holiday, but this is definitely up a notch. It's not doctrinaire and introduces flavours from all round the world; so far I've made 3 curries and they've all been delicious. If you're in a hurry you can get an inferior takeaway - but if you are willing to put in the time you can make large quantities and freeze it down. Excellent book :-)
