Of interest to those who recall and appreciate the older school of great British actors and actresses.
Gladys Cooper was a very popular English actress on stage and films over 60 years. Younger readers may remember her in the TV series "The Rogues". She never clamoured for publicity so reading about her life is of great interest to those who appreciated REAL stars from those days. This book also contains information about many others connected with her life and profession. She was married three times and successfully brought up several step-children as well as her own. A great animal lover, she looked after not only numerous cats and dogs, but monkeys etc.

Well now I have to say I never thought the book would be this size, it will be a very long read, rather than a quick breeze, but I am positive I'll know Gladys Constance Cooper much much better in the end
