It actually worked ...
I bought this “hoping” it would work, not so much “knowing” it will work. But I can absolutely tell you it works. I took my passenger seat out when I stripped the interior out so I could use my R50 2004 (53 plate) MINI as a make shift van to make multiple trips to the tip. I tried the resistor trick across the airbag plugs after disconnecting the car battery first, but the airbag warning light still came on for me? After I plugged everything back up, I used this AC808 Srs reset tool to tell me the faults (which I already knew) and it was correct to the charts in the book, it was also able to reset the light too. follow the book, and be patient with the reset procedure. Nothing appears to happen for a minute or two but then it starts to flash and then the airbag warning goes out. If in doubt try the rest again and again. It will go out, just wait for it to do its thing. £15 to have this fix whenever is an absolute win. Just know WHY the light comes on of course for your own safety!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Tried but couldn't get it to work.
The item arrived quickly and well ahead of the estimated time, so very pleased with that. Unfortunately the device didn't sort out the problem with my 06 plate Mini Cooper. The airbag light flashed when trying to clear the warning light from the dashboard but would then light back up. The manual for the item is full of spelling mistakes and inconsistencies, making trying to read the fault codes very difficult, so i am still none the wiser to what is actually causing the fault.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I have had an ongoing problem with my mini cooper airbag warning light keeps going on, regular visit to my garage to get it reset, I saw this on eBay the price was good so I decided to purchase a day before the arrival of the project I had to call out the AA for another warning light arrived and also noticed that the airbag warning light was on again and could not clear it suggested I visited my garage, this I was going to do next day on my arrival home the reset tool has arrived I connected to my car follow the instructions and it worked after a couple of goes brilliant thank you very much. Mini srs light reset
This tool saved me a fortune. Local garage quoted £40 plus vat to diagnose problem not fix. This tool did it in 5 mins. Only thing was on my 2003 Mini Cooper I had to scan and reset twice. Then the srs light went out. Started car the light briefly came on then went out as system was on. As this can be be a recurring fault I am glad to have this tool for next time. Airbag Reset

Reset Airbag faults on 2005 MINI ONE
As the description says, reset a couple of faults that seemed to be caused by a dead battery - saved in garage fees and turned an MOT fail into a pass, great value for money and really simple to use. Mini Cooper Fault Code Finder
Appears basic plastic tool in the hand but does the job. As usual there is a reason for the fault to appear but then again early Mini Cooper's were known for the Airbag light appearing simply by moving your seat for instance. Local garage had always simply reset which this basic code reader does and takes just a few minutes. Does it job saves the woe booking into garage with the expected huge estimate repair that BMW always gives you albeit they are fully aware of the fault they never recalled the vehicles on.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Total honesty

Airbag reset tool
Does exactly what it says on the tin! It took me 2 goes, I was reading the manual at the same time as the first attempt. Second time worked as described. My 2002 Cooper sets this light off everytime you move the passenger seat almost, will save a fortune.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
