  • Amazing

My childhood favourite book. How it reminds me of my school library and the pages are yellowish as books in the late 80's used to be and the still have that school smell.

  • It's really old school

I like it because of that.the way that it's written.its written in the way they would talk back then and I love it!

  • fun stories for children

Bought this for my grandson who is an avid reader, aged 7. He has read the Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton and I knew he would enjoy this book too as it was one of my favourites as a child. It is basically about a well meaning elderly man who gets things mixed up and wrong all of the time and gets himself into quite a pickle. Good old fashioned fun for children.
