  • The history of the Zingari 1 cricket club

A fascinating insight into the history of this prestigeous club, it seems only the top people of the day could be invited to join this select and somewhat elite group of sportsmen, worthy scholars, poets and theatrical types, with a wealthy and highly socially regarded background, the name Zingari comes from a Italian word for Gypsy, these travelling Cricketers , were able to spread the game of Cricket by meeting and playing other random Cricket Clubs, the Clubs colours are highly regarded, and remain a worthy nod to this band of early Cricket pioneers, its a very good read also' with many not seen before, photos, any Cricket fan should read this delightful document of Sporting History.
