Corky's War
I'm not much into diaries and this book is set out as a diary covering Percy Cawkwell's experiences in 1915 -1919, but what a fascinating and easy read. Ronald Fairfax has done a great job of telling the story of an ordinary Tommy without hyperbole and the result is a compelling insight into history from an ordinary bloke who just got on with his job.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
