This is one of the most compelling historical biographies I have ever read. Not at all boring, it carries the reader along at a breakneck pace with every attention to detail of Georgiana's incredibly varied life. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend the author to anyone interested in biographical history.

I went to Chatsworth house and saw a picture of Georgiana. I wanted to learn more about her and looked on ebay for a book. I am so pleased with the book i bought as it told me just what i wanted to know. The only down side was it is an ex library book and inside the front cover the library stickers had been stuck over the family tree.
