  • Surprising and very compelling

I’ve read all the Cadael books, but seeing this in the blurb, caught my attention. It’s surprising when you glance through it what hits you

  • An excellent companion

When I ordered this book I didn't expect the large volume that arrived. It really is a mine of information concerning the characters that Ellis Peters brings into the stories, Robin Whiteman has done a wonderful job in bringing us the background of all of the characters, both real and imaginary. The only disappointment is that it was produced before all the books were written. To sum up it is an excellent companion
