  • My Wicked, Wicked Ways review

I am enjoying this book immensely. I read it about fifty years ago, a much more naïve and innocent time in my life. I found the story shockingly entertaining but I couldn't really believe that anyone could actually live like that.. Now in my later years I find it more believable and really amusing. I was a real fan of Errol Flynn and had no idea he lead such a tortured existence - mostly of his own making, but also due to the neglect by both his parents, when he was still very young, who were so occupied with their own lives. I saw his boat, The Barnaby, where it was anchored in Lake Taupo, NewZealand. He was really quite a character, but unfortunately he died very young. This is a book for all his fans- those of us who are still alive anyway.
