I really like this book. The writing style is light and enlightening. As a new gardener, it's helping me to plan out my year and inspiring me at the same time. It's also very concise without being a dry academic read.

Front cover is a colour picture inside are just line drawings and there were only a few pages on things to grow ( about 40 years ago ) not an easy book for a beginner ( my friend has never grown anything before ) so asparagus and globe artichokes not really a good place to start learning
