The bonds of real love remain unbroken no matter what evil they have to endure.
Everyone, yes EVERYONE should read this book. It is harrowing, yet essential reading. The bravery of these sisters is so life affirming. It helps you to understand how people both inside and outside of the cult react, and also the devastating long term effects of lies and abuse on innocent children. It shows the blinkered and selfish views of the adults involved, some clearly brainwashed to the extreme and others openly choosing to follow this path of evil. How any can think that they are following Christ’s example is totally unbelievable. The cult should be titled “ Children of Satan” as that is a more apt description. To think that this cult is STILL in existence ( in whatever “disguised” form)…is evidence of the power of pure evil…. of a “ wolf in a lambs clothing.” Read it…. be appalled… then take action.
