About this product

Product Information

In one of the most acclaimed and strange novels of recent years, Kazuo Ishiguro imagines the lives of a group of students growing up in a darkly skewed version of contemporary England. Narrated by Kathy, now 31, Never Let Me Go hauntingly dramatises her attempts to come to terms with her childhood at the seemingly idyllic Hailsham School, and with the fate that has always awaited her and her closest friends in the wider world. A story of love, friendship and memory, Never Let Me Go is charged throughout with a sense of the fragility of life.

  • A story that recalls a strong memory of friendship, love.

Never let me go is a compelling read by Kazuo Ishiguro. It's a story told in the first person narrative recalling a memory of childhood and forging friendships. I liked the way the narrative flows from the perspective time of Kate [ who is 30 years old] recalling her close relationship with a friend Ruth. I found that the book flows very well, Ishiguro is a good story teller this is the third time I have read previous books from this author which I have enjoyed previously.

  • Book great condition

I haven't read it yet but I did watch the film adaption with Kira Knightly and since I love stories with a dystopian theme decided to order this in a hardback format. Arrived in great condition and such a better price than buying a hardback book from a shop first hand.
