Very comfortable books
This is the first of the Mrs Pargeter stories I have read, I prefer the Fethering Mysteries. The character is not very believable but as with most of Simon Brett stories the books are gentle reading and don't give you nightmares. A good relaxing read on the bus or train or last thing at night. Will continue with some more Mrs Pargeters though.
