Very good updated second edition of an excellent book. If you want to have a good understanding of the nature of 'Thatcherism' and the 1980s New Right (in both its neo-liberal and statist versions) more generally, then this is a clear discussion, full of insights. I purchased the original edition when it first came out, and appreciated the second updated edition and its new material.
