My mother bought me this book when my idea of cooking was heating things up in the oven. I re bought it as after many moves I had misplaced it as she remembered us following the recipes together when she was young. We had lived Uk rural France and I needed learn to cook. Every week we tried new recipes together and it helped her passion for long baking before bake off . A good all round book.
