Product Information

Brick Leaf House in Hampstead, London, was commissioned from Woolf Architects, in 1998, by two brothers and their families and built between 2001 and 2003. In 2004, it won an RIBA Award and was the first private house to achieve the Stirling Prize midlist. Woolf was also awarded Building Design's UK Architect of the Year for the building, and it was Kevin McCloud's Perfect House in the November edition of Grand Designs magazine. This monograph contains photographs by Helene Binet, the architects' drawings, essays by Tony Fretton and Robert Maxwell, plus an interview with Jonathan Woolf by Charles Rattray.
